2025 POSCO Asia Fellowship (PAF) Program Announcement
POSCO TJ Park Foundation operates, POSCO Asia Fellowship program which aims to support young aspiring intellectuals who are pursuing their Master’s or Doctorial degrees in STEM fields in Korea.Last date to apply:
31st May, 2024
We are looking for promising Asian students who grow into a global leader.
1. Eligibility • Applicants who have earned bachelor’s degrees (or above) and show potentials to grow into a leader in their respective countries• Applicants who plan to study in one of the following nine Korean prestigious graduate schools in the Spring or Fall semester in 2025•
1) Ewha Womans University
2) Hanyang University, Seoul
3) KAIST
4) Korea University, Seoul
5) Kyung Hee University
6) POSTECH
7) Seoul National University
8) Sungkyunkwan University
9) Yonsei University, Seoul
- If the Certificate of Admission (COA) is not submitted before the semester starts, the fellowship may be canceled.
*Applicants must plan to pursue their major in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
Requirements:
1) Nationality: must hold Asian citizenship *Individuals who hold citizenship in non-Asian countries or Korea are not eligible
2) English proficiency:
TOEFL, TOEIC, TEPS and IELTS must meet one of the minimum scores.
Applicants who have graduated from a university in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States or the United Kingdom can be exempted from the English Proficiency Test.
3) Minimum GPA: 2.7 out of 4.0 (=2.87 out of 4.3, 3.0 out of 4.5, 82.9 out of 100)
